Thought plane in the Lo Shu grid

Complete in 1.8% of birth dates · empty in 25.8%

The thought plane

The Thought plane is the column 4-3-8 of the Lo Shu square. Planning and turning ideas into plans.

A complete thought plane is read as a planner who thinks ahead; an empty one as someone who plans best on paper.

When the line is complete

If your birth date contains 4, 3 and 8, the line is complete, often called an arrow of strength. Of all dates from 1940 to 2019, 1.8% complete it.

Examples:

  • 4 March 1988
  • 14 March 1988
  • 24 March 1988

When the line is empty

If none of 4, 3 or 8 appears, the line is empty, sometimes called an arrow of weakness. No digits on the thought line: planning ahead may need to be done on paper. 25.8% of dates leave it empty.
