Compound number 15

Cheiro's reading of 15
Cheiro calls 15 a number of magic and mystery, linked with persuasive speakers, artistic gifts and personal magnetism, and fortunate for gaining money, gifts and favours. He adds that alongside a 4 or 8 it can signal someone willing to use any means to get their way.
How a name reaches 15
In the Chaldean system every letter of the name is added into one total. When that total is 15, Cheiro reads 15 first and then the single digit it reduces to: 1+5 = 6. Read number 6 for the single-digit meaning.
Cheiro used compound numbers mainly to judge names and dates. These readings describe his tradition's view; they are not predictions.
Is 15 a lucky number?
Cheiro's reading of 15 is mixed: it has favourable sides and a warning attached.
Names that add up to 15
Some common first names whose letters add to 15 in the Chaldean system: Arjun, Kavita, Swati, Amelia, Leo, Giulia, Claire, Greta. For example, Arjun: 1 + 2 + 1 + 6 + 5 = 15. A full name adds the first name, any middle names and the surname together.
15 in dates
For dates from 1940 to 2019, adding every digit gives totals from 4 (1 January 2000) to 48 (29 September 1999). Of all dates from 1940 to 2019, 1.9% add up to exactly 15. That whole-date total reduces to the Bhagyank, here 6.
As a day of the month, the 15th gives Mulank 6. Born on the 15th.
Other compounds that reduce to 6
24, 33, 42, 51. Each has its own reading, though they share the single digit 6.
What the single digit 6 adds
Six is associated with family, service and harmony. It is read as protective and generous; the shadow side is taking on too much for others. In Cheiro's method the compound gives the colour and the single digit gives the underlying nature; both are read together.
How one letter changes 15
Adding a letter raises a Chaldean total by that letter's value, from 1 to 8 (no letter is worth 9). This is why a doubled letter or an extra vowel can move a name to a different compound:
